This two day program is designed as an introduction to fundamental skills and abilities for delivering simulation-based healthcare education through a variety of techniques and technologies. The program emphasizes hands-on activities and active participation to maximize simulation-based instruction skill acquisition. It is a joint program between WISER and the Gordon Center for Research and Medical Education (GCRME) at the University of Miami.

Course Cost: $1,395

Please note: this course occurs over two consecutive days. When selecting your registration day, you will automatically be enrolled in the second day. Attendance at both days is required to ensure adequate comprehension and skills acquisition. Continuing education credits are only available for those who attend both days. This activity is approved for a maximum of 15 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit ^TM for physicians. All other learners will receive a certificate of attendance.

Cancellation Policy: It is our general policy that unless otherwise stipulated, if a participant cannot attend a class that is previously paid for, they must inform the course director by email at least 2 weeks prior to the class date for a full refund. Course director emails can be found on the directory page for each course on the WISER web site.  If the cancellation occurs within 2 weeks of the class, the participant is subject to the revocation of a portion or the entire course fee to WISER.  In addition, they may be subject to a cancellation fee based upon a percentage of the course cost.
